How long will it take for my web site to be designed?

The timescale for our website design projects are often dictated by the client. If you have a deadline, we will can usually meet it for you (depends on what your site consists of). The most common delay,is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.
 
What up-front fees are charged? Are there hidden costs associated with your web design services?

The one-time website design & setup fee (base price) is the only up-front charge. Once you approve of your website design, it is released to the public. From that point, there is no obligation to stay with us. You pay your hosting fee on a month to month basis, and can cancel at any time without a penalty.

No hidden charges. If you have special requirements other than the basic packages offered, we will quote the price of those services in addition to your base price, and those prices are strictly adhered to.
 
What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept online payments via Paypal.com and Major credit cards (US and Canadian businesses ONLY). Also, we are a paperless company, so we do not mail paper invoices.
 
Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design?

Usually, no. Top flight websites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only. We place several website designs onto the Internet where only you can view them, and choose the one you like. We then customize your selected web design until it is satisfactory to you.

Once my website design is completed, what after sales service do you offer?

Should you encounter any technical problems, we provide 24/7 technical support for all websites we design. We also offer web site maintenance plans, if you do not have the time or desire to maintain your own site.

In what format should I supply text and photographs about my business for my new website?

You should provide content in electronic form - for example, photos from digital cameras and the words in MS word or similar format. We also offer content creation services if you can not provide your own content.

Will my website design be "Search Engine" friendly?

All our websites are search engine friendly and are compliant with search engine guidelines.  Search engines do alter their rules and algorithms, so  it is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated occasionally, so that your website is kept up to date and complies with new rules.

How do I update my website?

We provide an online content management system where you can either update individual products/pages/services or particular sections of your website. 

Along with the above capability, with ecommerce, you can  upload your entire product ranges to the website in one action using spreadsheets etc.

Do you guarantee that my site will always be up and running?

No provider can guarantee 100% uptime.  Should our servers have any problems, we have technical staff in place to deal with this issue, speedily.

Do you use Flash animation in your website design?

Yes. We can, and will use flash when required. There are times when flash animations can be an asset, but in some cases it would be unwise to use flash . We can not use Flash to create an entire website or even entire pages of your website. We do use flash for website elements, like banners or simple animated graphics.

What if I do not like the design?

If you're not quite fond of the design which we have suggested for you, we will consult with you to get a better feel for the design you would like to see, and then place other "suggested designs" in your web area for you to view. Our aim is to design a website specific to your requirements which you are completely happy with.

Who chooses my domain / web address?

You do! We will make suggestions and help you choose a customer and search engine friendly name, register it and configure it to work with your new website.

Who owns the website once the website design is completed?

You own your website. If you decide to work with another provider, you can download your site's public files to transfer to a different host.

IMPORTANT: If you decided to move your site to another host, you will not be able to use our Website Tonight Content Management System to manage the site we build for you.  It is exclusive to TopFlightWebsites.com web hosting & web design customers.  This means that you would need to hire a web designer to update or make any changes to your site.
